AANS TECHNICAL & SERVICES SDN BHD was founded in 2002 by Md Zin bin Abu. It was formerly known as ANS Technical & Services and later changed to AANS Technical & Services Sdn Bhd (SB) on 31st March 2004. The main activities of the company are the provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Inspection and Commissioning (EPCIC) services for the oil and gas and general industries, which include Fabrication, Piping Work, Electrical Work, Equipment & Machine Installation, Manpower Supply and Shut-down Maintenance Works.
In the early stage of its inception the company was involved in the provision of consultancy services and minor plant modification works for Japanese clients. Later, the company managed to secure a contract to supply technical manpower and maintenance works to the Japanese multinational company in Shah Alam Selangor and Senawang Negeri Sembilan.
In 2008, AANS Technical & Services Sdn Bhd registered as Vendor Development Programmed (VDP) to Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS) where Piping Works and Electrical Works are AANS core activity.
